On March 20 the Crimson Bears took on the Wasilla Warriors in the first round of state tournament play.  The Crimson Bears kept the game close battling to within 3 points with two minutes left in the game but was unable to over power the Warriors defense and lost 47-57.  The lose pushed the Bears into the losers bracket pairing them up with the Lathrop Huskies.  After a slow start the Crimson Bears pulled ahead in the end to capture the win 45-41. 

Saturday’s game brought about a see-saw battle between the Crimson Bears and the Wolverines of South Anchorage High.  With the score tied up at 53 all at the end of regulation play, the Crimson Bears kept their composure to hold on for the win, 59-55 ending the season  with a fourth place tournament!!
